"Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 an election for the purpose of electing councilmember Place 1 as pursuant to duly enacted law or ordinance, or any or all of the officers, are to be elected at the election for the City of Winfield, Alabama, will be held, and that all registered and qualified electors of the state, who reside within the corporate limits of Winfield, Alabama, and have resided therein for 30 days or more immediately preceding the date of the election, and who are qualified to vote in the county precinct which embraces and covers that part of the corporate limits of the City of Winfield in which the elector resides, will be authorized to participate in the election.”
The polls will be held at the Winfield Community Center from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. If necessary, a run-off election will be held on: Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 an election for the purpose of electing (1)City Council Member for place one (1) city council place (numbered place one, place two, place three, place four and place five) for the City of Winfield, Alabama, will be held at the Winfield Community Center, located at: 400 Community Street Winfield, Alabama 35594.
The polls will open, and the election will be held, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Central Time Zone, on June 13, 2023.
If necessary, a run-off election will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at this same location and at the same time.
All registered and qualified voters of the state, who have resided within the corporate/city limits of Winfield, Alabama and have resided there for ninety (90) days prior to the date of the election, and who are qualified to vote in the county precinct which covers the corporate/city limits of the City of Winfield, in which the elector resides, are eligible to participate as candidates in this election.
The Municipal Election Manager/City Clerk will begin accepting Statements of Candidacy at 8:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, through Tuesday, April 25, 2023, until 5:00 p.m. at the Winfield City Hall. No Statements of Candidacy for this election will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on April 25, 2023. The Qualification fee for Councilmember candidates will be $25.00 payable at the time of qualification. (This fee is Non-Refundable).
Failure by each candidate to neglect all filing requirements imposed by the Secretary of State and the Alabama Ethics Commission, within the allotted amount of time, will result in the candidate’s name not appearing on the ballot and no refund of qualification fees.
The City of Winfield will be accepting applications for a part-time facilities supervisor for the Winfield Park and Recreation Department. Interested parties may obtain an application at the Winfield City Hall or the Winfield Community Center during regular business hours.
This position consists of up to 25-hour work week including nights and weekends.
Starting Pay $9.00 hour top out at $13.00.
